School Status for Monday, March 15th
As of 2:30 pm on Sunday, March 14th, we have power at the High School and Middle School. Power is out at Concord Road School. Con Edison is aware of the situation at Concord Road however, given the scope of the damage, they are unable to project when power will be restored to Concord Road. The Village of Ardsley's road department has informed us that most roads in the village are clear.
At this time we are planning on opening the High School and Middle School at their regular opening times. Parents of Concord Road students should plan on a two-hour delayed opening with the very real possibility of closing if power is not restored. If power is restored to Concord Road or if power is lost at either the High School or Middle School, these plans could change. I will post an update on the district website and send out a Blast at 9 pm tonight and again at 6:30 am tomorrow morning. Please check for these updates and please pass this information along to any neighbors or friends who may not have phone or internet service. Thank you.
Charles Khoury, Ed. D. Superintendent

Tri-State Consortium Visit-March 17, 18, and 19
We are presently involved in an evaluation of our K-12 math program. The evaluation is being done by the Tri-State Consortium and will take place on March 17, 18 and 19, 2010. Tri-State has also evaluated our social studies curriculum in 2005 and our science curriculum in 2008.
As part of the evaluation, the consortium seeks feedback from parents, students, teachers and administrators. In order to obtain feedback from parents, a survey has been created. The survey will only take a few minutes to complete. To access the survey please go to: http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dFBKMWdfdzdRa3loakFUS0d6dnVwUmc6MA If you have more than one child attending Ardsley schools, we ask that you complete one survey for each school building your children attend.
We will receive the final written evaluation sometime in May and will be providing a full report to the Board of Education at a regular meeting. We will notify the community of this date once it is scheduled.
Dr. Lauren Allan, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction

COMMUNITY PASS LINK
Community Pass is an online way of collecting emergency information, organized by families. It is a secure way to allow you to update information, anytime, as needed. Some common questions come up as the Community learns how to log on.
1. I forgot my password and asked Community Pass to send me a new one. How come I didn't receive an email? It is likely that the system does not have your email address. (Information was originally retrieved from an older database collection). If you asked the system to send you your password and don't receive it you might want to check your spam blocker or you can email Debra Rinaldi at rinaldid@ardsleyschools.org You will receive an email with your user name and passcode promptly.
2. Is Community Pass part of k-12 Alerts, Nutrkids, or the online calendar systems? No, these elective subscription systems are not linked. They are commercial website add-on products from different vendors and are therefore independent from each other, and from Community Pass.
