Board Committees
A board committee functions as a sub group of the board of education. Board committees focus on specific areas of concern/interest or act as liasons from the board to school, county or state groups.  Each committee consists of one or two board of education members.  Board committee representatives report on any committee activity at monthly Board of Education meetings.

Board Policy Review
The Board of Education is undertaking a review of all current district policies.  They are doing this review with the assistance of the Erie BOCES staff who prepared a draft of a "model policy manual" that includes all revisions necessary to comply with the law, community members and parents who voluteered to review the policies across this school year, and members of the administrative staff.  Once reviewed by the committee, the proposed policies will be discussed by the Board of Education at public meetings.  The proposed revisions to the model manual prepared by the Erie BOCES staff are noted in red in the accompanying documents.
